Panama-CR update for perpetual tourists
It is sounds like the life as a perpetual tourist is getting harder all the time if what perpetual tourism means to you is living in one country and pretending you are a tourist. This article in Costa Rica Times is about the Costa Rica-Panama border but it is likely an indication of how things continue to change.
I disagree with the part about Costa Rica residency being a complicated process. I did it with little in the way of problems but, like any government process you can hire an expert of expect to have some delays.
Note that Ecuador has a totally logical tourist plan. You can be in Ecuador up to six months in a year. Enter and leave all you want but the six month limit is still there.
Perpetual tourism consists of leaving every 90 days normally to Nicaragua or Panama, staying out of Costa Rica for 72 hours (false) and then returning with a new 90 day tourist VISA stamp.
