Cryptography is the weapon to fight empire states
We have certainly had our share of "Snowden this" and "Manning that" articles here. This article is a refreshing change of pace from those arguments. It is titled How cryptography is a key weapon in the fight against empire states.
It is about how less powerful states are controlled/exploited by the information-gatherning power of bigger states. Don't jump to the conclusion this is yet another anti-US article. The article points out other, seemingly unknown, cases where a powerful state is helping out a less powerful one.
