Chavez's Final Days
Once Hugo Chávez revealed he had cancer what was happening became a very well kept secret all the way through the time of his death. Finally, a reasonable story of what he had and what was happening is revealed in a Reuters article. No matter what else you may think about Chávez, it is pretty clear he will willing to put what he felt was best for Venezuela ahead of even his own life.
Since his death this week, however, details have emerged of the 58-year-old president's battle with cancer and the last moments in the hospital with close family and senior aides.

Another champion of the poor for sure.
If what I've read about Mr Chavez's finances is true, an article on yesterday's La Prensa taken from a spanish newspaper, I'll be more than willing to put the wellfare of Nicaragua or any other place ahead of my own. As Mel Brooke said It's nice to be the King.
