Bueno
Now go watch Scarface...you'll be fine.
Is NBC news scaremongering in light of the relaxed Cuba travel rules?
Fear Mongering More
likely if it were Fox News :) covering the story. They don't like Cuba . . . NBC is pretty far left.
Not only cholera in Cuba and graphic depictions in the Painted Veil, , but I was also reading Richard Preston's 'The Demon in the Freezer" 's account of the smallpox outbreak in Germany in 1970 as my night time put me to sleep book.
Cuba is reputedly one of the few countries to maintain a stock of the variola virus. Others include Iran, Israel, Russia, Pakistan,, and of course, the US. All have the capability to weaponize the virus.
Unlike cholera and influenza vaccines the smallpox vaccine is very effective, and the US maintains a sufficient stock to vaccinate the entire population in the event of an emergency.
So not much effect on my Nica Living then?
That's good.
I'll take a Cuban Sandwich any day.
What's a Cuban sandwich?
What's a Cuban sandwich? Dos chicas?
Cuban bread (made with lard)
Roast pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickles & mustard toasted in a sandwich press until the cheese is melted and the pickles have steamed the whole thing from the inside out.
There are many variations but this is the pure Cuban.
