The First Lady ordered that all electoral action in all municipalities should seek to strengthen her husband bid to win the 2016 presidential election.
"And comrades, we are already campaigning for 2016. Companeros...we are in the field and Commander Daniel has to win the election in 2016! By the grace of God we all have health, we are alive, we have the strength to go on, with our people, with Daniel! And that is the spirit that we must have this (Municipal election) season. It is the people, it is The Front and its is Daniel who will win in each municipal government" said the First Lady.
The Supreme Court Judge, Rafael Solis, said "Ortega can legally run for president as many times as he aspires".

and in DOS's interview with David Frost...
in 2009 he mentioned how his grandmother lived until she was 92 and he didn't see any reason to quit as long as his health holds out. He is currently 66 years old so he might have a good 20-25 years more. Then his wife and children can take over.
