Is the donations button up?

The site is not moved yet but DreamHost will be our new home. It's a dedicated server and it is up and running. The "ongoing" story will continue to appear at http://www.monosmedia.com which it "almost moved". That is, there is a new page up on DreamHost but some will not see it for a while as the DNS changes need to filter down.

Let me explain a bit about what is about to happen here as it is not clear when MM will be in the right place. There are some changes in plans along the way.

1. I will create a temporary URL on the new server for what will become the real NicaLiving site.
2. I will copy over the current site, make sure all works (such as it is with the current problems) and deal with any issues.
3. Once it looks like a go, I will temporarily turn off this site to get a final dump of everything and copy it over.
4. I will then add a redirect here to the temporary URL.
5. Assuming all looks good, I will move the NicaLiving.com domain over to the new host. (There is more than just the web site which is why this has to happen in pieces.)

I will also post a "warning" here when the site is going to be moved. Downtime should not be very long but there will be some.

I have said this before but let me say it again -- because of the limitations of the current hosting, things can't be fixed/upgraded. That is the reason that we need to move and stabalize first. As the new machine is all ours, the limitations go away.
