female sex tourism?

perhaps some of you out there can give me some feedback...Im a graduate student looking to explore female sex tourism in Nicaragua. After living in Nicaragua for two years I suspect that this is occurring, however, my advisor has done extensive work on Nicaragua and is challenging me to think about if women are truly traveling to Nica just for sex or if these relationships are simply a hope/expectation once the woman get there....What do you guys think? Anyone have any evidence that women are traveling to Nicaragua just for sex (as they do in to the DR or Cuba)?

i have experienced and noticed this trend going on in nicaragua, in my neighborhood there is this larger than life lady that married this younger emanciated guy apparently it worked for both of them. i also know of another foreigner baby boomer who goes around with every single gold digger guy in town.

im sure these two baby boomers did their homework before traveling to nicaragua they took some spanish classes and were probably advised on how to operate here in nicaragua . now with all the social networks available im sure it is easier for anybody to come to nicaragua and live the life, a lot of baby boomer are doing it here,

go cougar ladies , go, if no one pay attention to you in your homecountry come to nicaragua , i have noticed that some woman that would be deemed as ugly in the state or canada are considered gorgeous here, its seems to me that men choose their woman based on the set standars of society ,look at vanity fair when have you seen a large lady in the front cover? so these ladies are comming to nicaragua. i personally don not discriminate i welcome skinny , bbw, and super bbw just mentioning . i do not mean any offense to anybody in my personal opin0in every one is entitle to pursue happiness , so if this trends continued good.

but yes its happening i have seen it.

in all seriousness it is possible, we have a lot of men travelling to nicaragua to have sex ; consented or not with young women , the same thing can happen i know it happens in haity and cuba where mummies travel to these countries just to have sex with young guys .

very interesting to find out what really goes on behing closed door, i know of some elderly ladies that have traveled here to nicaragua and are going out with men half their age, maybe they are using them for sex while the guys use them to provide food, transportation ,and hope for a better life.

Don't you know that woman is the GLUE that hold the world together, we are all born by a woman, good or bad, but without a woman it would be pretty lonely here. Your post stinks, in my mind woman has the same rights as a man and that how it should be. Enough of this.

I just doubt it because so few Nicas speak English and would not have the means to hang out where gringas hangout ... hotel bars, etc.

I just don't see many solo gringa women .... lots of single guys on the prowl.

Yes, I see enough of it and yes if it was a guy with a young Nica it would have a name and the NGO trying to stop it would have nice acronym.

The men that are into it are here to pay for sex. The ladies are way more subtle than that. If they are players, they know exactly what they are up to, get what they want and leave.

As long as the male is of age, good luck to the cougars that are down here looking for a bit of sport for couple of weeks.

Given the choice, I can't blame the ladies for choosing a young fit surfer dude over an old fat white guy. She can get those at home, probably divorced a few of them and is down here having fun with their money!!.

There are a couple of local guys that have done well (No...are God's) at having a foreign escort for a couple of weeks, putting them on the bus, promising to write and then they are back at the bus stop tomorrow for the new arrivals.

If they were girls their actions would be frowned upon, but they are just boys, being boys and that's why women like them.

More than a few locals have found a wife and now live in the US, Canada and Germany to think of just three.

So its not all bad news.

My take on it is that this is way off. Women here go to CR for sex work to support their families. I don't think there is much money here to sustain sex tourism.

Maybe I'm blind to it .. what are other opinions?

It'd be kind of pathetic to travel to Nicaragua "just for sex" but if that is on anyone's agenda (both men or women) then sure, you can can some or lots of of it in Nic. Depending on the case, it will cost you an upfront fee or a dinner; a little FDC has not killed anyone either...as in anything, be picky.

But my Nica wife, who's very observant and loves to gossip, is quick to pick up on cases of this here in Leon. Especially among young, super-chela European women (bleached-blonde-appearing Scandinavian or Germanic types) surrounded by young Nica bandilleros (or so she judges them to be) punks, toughs.

I like to step beyond simple gossip and imagine them to be spies getting tight with Ortega's turbas, for future international advantage in Nicaraguan markets. Imagine!

Some simply seek to escape the uber-civilization of 'developed' countries, albeit briefly. Sex is not a civil act. Though some governments try to manage the demographics of it all. (Doesn't 'developed' sound stagnant, dead? 'Developing' is becoming, growth, where it's at. 'Nuff said.)
