Apparently there aren't enough cacao plants in the world to keep up with chocolate demand. It increases 2.5-3% per year, translating into an additional 4 million tons with much of the demand coming from the developing world.

This should be good news for the cacao farmers.

until the La Roya problem is solved. Last year in May there wasn't much in my area, now it's everywhere..

They're supposed to be easier to pick than coffee too. Do you process them yourselves at all?
