is there anybody who have had experience with Armadillo Car Rental at Granada? Please only real experiences, not like .."I have heard from a friend, and the friend of him...", you know what I mean! The website of this car rental is: www.armadillo-nicaragua.com

My husband needs to rent a car quite often, I am quite positive he rented from armadillo a couple of times, never any major problems so I think they are trustworthy.

But what a great way of doing a client satisfaction survey. Ask about a friends business but be specific and 'qualify' your complaints or positive referrals so that the business would even recall the incident, good or bad.

I'm not saying that's what's happening here but the thought just came to me.

yeahh...

I saw a old Toyota Land Cruiser, a not too old Jimmy and Prado..but the prices aren't too much different than big rental companies , that are more trusted.

I rented the big Land Cruiser for a couple of weeks last year. We had 8 of us and it fit us well. All of our luggage went up on the roof rack. The ride isn't what I would call plush and the air conditioning has a hard time keeping up with the huge interior space but it does go everywhere and handles well. The owner offers great service and will be your driver and tour guide (for a small price) if you are near Granada. You can get picked up right at the airport so you don't waste anytime finding a rental agency.
