"With Ortega, there is no more revolution. His goal is to consolidate power and create a family dynasty." And like Somoza, Hassan said, Ortega is unintentionally unifying Nicaragua's diverse opposition against him".

And I just read Aleman will be running again. I can see why some people think nothing ever changes in Nicaragua. The article said both these guys are unpopular, according to polls.
Yep, Aleman was "acclaimed" as PLC candidate for 2011
Its called "Consistent Change".
However, Aleman called VP Morales a pussy and a coward at the weekend so Jaime Morales was all set to publish the evidence (he says Panama ignored) that proves the Aleman money laundering charges.
Problem is, Jamie and is cronies already let him off the charges here......or did they... All but two I believe it was. They kept a couple in the back pocket to use...oh, about.....sometime between now and November 2011.
Nicaragua, where Politics is a game of Chess played by the same two finalists every five years. (Actually the 'three dimensional game' lasts 5 years, the final move and results are made public at the end of every 5 years of play!)
"Here we go again"
There is nothing new to say about it nor witty , so I offer this song by Ray Charles with a few changes : Here we go again - They're back in town again - We'll take them back again - One more time - Here we go again- The phone will ring again - We'll be their fools again - One more time - We've been there before - And we'll try it again - But any fool knows - That there"s no way to win - Here we go again - They'll break our hearts again - We'll play the part again - One more time. It's so bad it can drive one to drnking.
Same olde B.S
by the same old sinverguenzas ladrones, every one wants a piece of the pie,in Nicaragua is not a matter of "Who won't steal" but rather "Who WILL steal the LEAST".
On a side note:
could one of you fine admins check the "Recent Post" feature, every time I click on it,it logs me out :-X THANK YOU whomever fix it, it's A ok now :-)
Hey, good to see your post.
It does rather remind me of a good definition of insanity: "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting to get a different result each time"
The links (in red within the main story) were a bit annoying.
Within two clicks I could have been into a link entitled "Read a story about the Ortega sex scandal".

Ho hum
Pretty thin stuff if you ask me. A few ex-bigshots sound off, but there`s no research into the attitudes of the people they purport to represent. And Eden Pastora has zero credibility with anyone. A lazy job of journalism, which I have come to expect from this reporter.
Oh so true Mike!
My Lawyer in Diriamba is ex Army, Sandinista and best friend to the new Military honcho. They both do not like Ortega..will they say it publiclly NO but they will vote to it....
