House to Rent in Jinotega?

0

We are in Jinotega, and looking for a house to rent. It does not have to be huge, but it's really important to us to have a yard for the kids to play in that is secure. We would also really like it if the house wasn't falling apart and had nice tile etc. 2 + bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen capable of having a fridge and stove, electricity, and running water are a must.

You can send me a private message if you know of something, or call my Nicaragua cell (Claro) 83321659.

Thanks!!

Back Yard Big Concern

What I would consider the biggest challenge is the back yard for the kids. That is very rare here. Even well-off people seldom have a yard to speak of. It's just something most of them don't consider a good use of space.

Networking

While there is a very slim chance someone on NL will have an answer, you are the one with the best solution if you are in Jinotega. This is a word-of-mouth country. Ask in the hotel. Ask the waiter in the restaurant, ask in the pulpuria, ask in the market, ...

You can expect some false starts (such as a place that is falling down) but, once you start saying "no, this doesn't work because ..." people will talk about you and someone will show up with the right solution. Really.
