El Hogar

El Hogar

This is one of the three supermarkets in Estelí. Las Segovias just expanded so it might be larger than the one floor that is used here. I'm not sure. In any case, it is just north of the Public Market where the main N-S road splits into two separate roads. The main reason for the photo is to show one of the important characteristics of the store--total lack of a sign. Some people call it El Hogar, others Del Hogar. I have no idea which, if either, is correct. But everyone knows where it is.

Super del Hogar

Realized I had a receipt from there in my pocket. That's what it says followd by "Les desea feliz navidad". Guess they update their cash register often. :-)

Not sure about this parking thing but it is a shorter walk for me than Las Segovias.

Hogar

I have a sticker on something I bought there that says DEL HOGAR, but something else I saw said EL HOGAR. I don´t think anyone really cares like was said earlier. Segovias is huge now and they have 10 varieties of Ramen Noodles. They also have Fresca. I have heard that Hogar occaisionaly has Dr. Pepper so if anyone sees it please advise. Also, Hogar seems to have less buggars than Pali or Segovias.
