This building has been many things including hospital and private residence. Now is La Perla Hotel.

My mother's house where I grew up is just accros

the street one house over. When it was the Mauricio Telleria's family residency in 60s and early 70s, I was friends with the Telleria kids. We used to play in that mansion, and when we were teenagers we had many parties there.

Today is La Perla Hotel,as mentioned , owns by Seminoles, I understand. They are building also a Casino, accros the street where Cine Orion used to be many decades ago.

Thanks for the picture. I knew it used to be a social Club, bud did not know it also served as Marine headquartes.

La Cueva del Leon

Not sure if you were in Leon around the 80s & 90s, but during that time this building was a restaurant by the name La Cueva del Leon. I had forgotten about Cine Orion....what was the name of the other theater that was next to El Orion?
