I have overstayed my visa

By about 3 days. Been here 93 days. Always was lousy at math. I know I have to pay a $20 cord fine per day but does this mean I have to leave the country for 3 days before returning, or can I pay the fine and then renew my visa in'country for another 90 days

once ur visa has expired or in other words u overstayed..the max extension they will give u now is 30 days http://www.nicaliving.com/node/5703

Thanks for the input so far.

I would like to return to Canada on Aug. 20. Assuming that the max extension they will give me is 30 days if my visa has expired, and that the per-day fine is a few cords, would it make sense for me to wait until July 22 before renewing my visa. That is, wait until 30 days before Aug 20, pay the per-day fines that have accumulated until then, and get my visa extended in time for the Aug. 20 exit date?

Would I expose myself to truoble that way?

so im not 100% sure becuse i have never done it,but,from what i have been told go to the airport early on aug.20 pay your 20 cords a day fine at the airport and get on the plane.i have friends that have done it in the past and they have had no problems..good luck acc
