Clinton Wants to Renew Ties with Latin America

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had some negative things to say about the Bush policies toward Latin America and whats to make some changes. The relatively realistic part of her statements are that Bush policies didn't work. The full AP article is here.
The Bush administration "tried to isolate them, tried to support opposition to them, tried to turn them into international pariahs," Clinton said. "It didn't work. We are going to see what other approaches might work."
