Mango Time is On The Way

This shot is taken from in front of the hotel main building looking down toward the coffee. The trees that appear yellow-brown are mangos and the color is of all the blossoms on them.
Because of the higher elevation/cooler temperatures, the mangos we get there will appear at the end of the season. You can already find green mangos in the market and ripe ones should start appearing in February.


yummy--at ~1000 feet they are green and growing...
and already my bride was asking the caretaker to bring her a "media docenita" to eat with salt and maybe vinegar.

They say in Nica,that when women want to eat,Mangos Verdes con Sal(Green Mangos with salt) they are pregnant :-O. same goes for jocotes verdes,they consider this an Antojo.
