Airlines on Time Performance

Thought it might useful to post current personal experience on flights to and from MGA. This will give a running account of the airline performance rather than an account of what happened "last/one time I flew".
My thought is that we post by airline name in subject and put date and details in body. Keep it real short so people can scan and get a picture.
Just do from now on...don't dredge up history.
My first one from last week is posted next.

Wednesday, Oct. 29.....2:50 PM flight to MIA. Left 15 minutes late. arrived 15 minutes late. No baggage checked (so no lost to report, if any).

Probably gives too much insight into the inner workings of my mind, but I am traveling on AA one week from today and I just went on their site to see what the tix cost today, and there was no flight listed for the day I return on the 30th. I hope this is because there is no room available on the flight! What does this mean, more Gringos escaping for the Thanksgiving holiday and jaming the flight out on November 30? But anyway, I got curious and checked for the reverse flight from MGA to MIA and it was $295, including taxes. Best I have seen it. So I wanted to put it out to you lucky bastards who are living in Nicaragua already, in case you need to get home for a viaje.
By the way, i got my tix in July, and paid 218/pp, best I have had in while. I did get sub $200 once.

I go back and forth quite a bit. Flights been fuller each week. Fares to EWR are all about $300 if you can plan a bit ahead. Not too bad and I have seen 180 from/to MIA lots of times.ZZT

AA perfomance
A report of not good performance: My flight from Miami on November 21 was 5 hours late. Worst experience to date with them. Something wrong with the Pilot´s chair, and the replacement part did not work.

My Wife was on that one too
My wife was on that same flight yesterday. I thought it was only 4 hours, as they left early based on their last estimated departure (they said 6:00 pm, but left closer to 5:00 pm), but it was pretty late. This was by far the worst of the recent flights. My wife made 2 previous trips since July, and I made one in October, and all were on time, both ways, on all legs. Although by nature we will all complain given the opportunity, I really don't find that to be too awfully bad. My biggest complaint was that one of her bags was missing yesterday, and I haven't spoken to her today to find out if there was any progress. By the way, her fare from Philadelphia was $100.00 each way, plus taxes and fees, for a grand total of $304 round trip.
my return to USA flight was fine
My return flight from MGA to MIA was on time and flawless. No baggage issues either way, other than the charge for a surfboard went from $70 to $100 each way(pay for both sides in Miami and avoid the 15% IVA, if you can). The total r/t was $218 including taxes. Price seems to jump around a lot, you need to watch it. AA has this thing called Deal Finder that will track a specific itinerary and notify you when you when the fare gets to your desired fare, if it does.
