Iran, Obama, Iraq, Bolivia, Blow Up, Say What?

I just read possibly the strangest editorial of my life. You to can experience it on the Petroleum World site. Now, my initial take was it has nothing to do with Nicaragua but, after reading it, who knows.
Now, maybe someone actually knows something that might make this article sound sane. If so, please speak up. The article is explaing how Iran will likely launch a pre-emptive strike against Obama before he becomes president. Here is but one piece of the puzzle (that the article doesn't solve).
Instead, Iran may launch a pre-emptive strike against Obama, most likely by bombing US embassies in early December in Iraq and Bolivia. Attacking embassies so as to create an international crisis and influence US policy is what Iran does best, as shown by Iran's spectacular success with the takeover of the US embassy in Tehran, and Iran's attacks on the US embassy in Lebanon.

US and Iranian relations
I just got this from a friend today. It seems to fit the situation, so I thought I would post it.
The Iranian Ambassador to the UN had just finished giving a speech, and walked out into the lobby where he met President Bush.
They shook hands, and as they walked the Iranian said, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America .
President Bush said, "Well, anything I can do to help you, I will."
The Iranian whispered "My son watches this show 'Star Trek' and in it there is Chekhov who is Russian, Scotty who is Scottish, and Sulu who is Chinese, but no Arabs. My son is very upset and doesn't understand why there aren't any Iranians on Star Trek."
President Bush laughed, leaned toward the Iranian ambassador, and whispered back, "It's because it takes place in the future."

Only one problem
Iran is not an Arab country. From slate.com
correct
You are right Iranians are Persian, NOT Arabs. Iranians take grea pride in this. I did not want to edit what was given to me by another. Anyhow, it is still a funny joke.

Iran wil be busy
If Obama wins, I see Isreal attacking Iran's nuclear sites before Obama takes office. Everyone knows he would not support such a move when he is in office, but Bush might. Isreal is not going to let Iran develop nuclear weapons, so this might be the last chance they have to do it with US backing.
If so, Iran will have a lot bigger problems then worry about our embassies

just my take . . .
but, it's not surprise that the petro world would prefer McCain and continued reliance on fossil fuel. I don't know who reads PWorld, or who they're trying to frighten off of Obama and his wouldbe energy alternatives pledge. Maybe they hope to get this picked up by FOX or AP. I expect a PWorld talking head like Scott to appear with this story soon. The best chance Iran has of not being the next conflict sight would be high level diplomacy, not the idiocy of sanctions. How'd those sanctions work with Iraq, and still the idea keeps coming up. Any fool knows Ahmedinejad isn't "the decider" in Iran anyway, anymore than W was in the Whitehouse. I'd keep Scott well away from the Whitehouse. How you see the world is often how you make your world.
Not to mention
all the free petrol the writer must have been sniffing to write this crap.
