What was this about?
I think it's rather strange that she would ask a question like this, and not respond in any way since. Maybe she visited Nicaragua for the first time and tried to find a "liquor store". It's like she developed her business plan in a vacuum, then wilted away the first time someone asked her for details. Or maybe she's looking for someone to do it for her. Anyone else have a guess at where she's coming from?

Dear Charlie let me give a you a polite response.I am very much an educated business woman here in the United States. But, it's people like you that make me ask my questions via private message. I would like to tell you I don't even drink but anyway who are you for me to be giving anymore explanations...Think whatever you want I don't care because i"m not going to open a business in Nicaragua with your money...WAITING FOR YOUR RESPONSE
Chill out
I think Charlie has a valid point--particularly with how this started with a private message from me to you. The forums are here for all of us to learn from. There has been little here in this thread that helps anyone.
Now, where did we start? You had (have?) in your bio that you wanted to know what you needed to do to open a liquor store here. I enabled your forum posting ability and suggested you ask in a forum giving some details of your intent.
You posted in the forum actually saying less, not more, than was in your bio. I, once again, took the time to suggest what you should detail if you wanted help (including suggesting a lawyer if you wanted "private help"). You only response has been to pick on someone who found your actions strange. Well, I also find them strange.
Ahem
Be nice Charlie. Bussakid is around and is posting questions about everyday life in Nicaragua so she's obviously sincere. Be a gentleman and welcome her.
Business
Hey.
If im nor mistake you need to be a Nicaraguan Citizen or resident to open up a corporation(sociedad anonima) which is done by a lawyer. If not, you can create stock in a Nicaraguans name, somebody you trust, and they can automatically endorse it to you. If you need any help or info I run a concierge service in Managua for Americans/English Speakers www.nicanow.net ac4@sbglobal.net 458 6121 Alex
Interesting
how someone who is "supposed" to be in the "concierge business" is giving faulty legal advise.
If you want to know the facts, contact Adan Solorzano or Paul Tiffer. Both are members of this board and Adan has been my personal lawyer and friend for many years. I have never done business with Paul but he has a good reputation.
IMO, alexc4, flogging your services in every one of your posts makes you look desperate and seedy. If the only purpose of your membership is to SPAM and promote your start up business you may be disappointed.
Good Advise
I am currently useing Paul Tiffer for my legal matters in Nicaragua. To date I can only say good things about him. I have recomended him to others. I am going to the Nica. consulate in Miami on Fri. and I will be bringing more paper work to Paul on Sat.so he can help me with my residence in Nicaragua.
Why no answers?
You may be wondering why you got no answers. Well, as I explained in a PM (before you posted this), you need to be a lot more specific than what is in your bio. If anything, this post was less specific.
Let me help a bit. That is, ask some questions you need to answer before you can expect to get any help here. Your alternative is, of course, to just contact a lawyer in Managua. They can help. The difference is that we don't charge.
If you prefer a more personal approach, I highly recommend Paul Tiffer, a lawyer in Managua. His contact info can be found here on NL.
