Teaching North America kids about Nicaragua

My 6-year-old nephew is shook up that I won't be hanging out with him for next six months. He wants to know more about Nicaragua. Are there any resources I can use to educate / amuse him about Nica? Books, web sites, etc. Same goes for my niece who is 13-years-old going on 25.
