light and Fan "store"Submitted by ATZ on 8 October, 2008 - 13:46.
Getting down to the wire on the renovation and need the finishing touches. Any suggestions on stores in Managua with good selection of lights (fixed not floor lamps) and one with selection of fans is appreciated. I am not ready for LEDs. Thanks ( categories: )

Had it all...and more. Prices good. ZZT
CONFESA
Agree with the CONFESA recommendations as that where I bought all my home furnishings and though a bit pricey, they have most/all you'll need lighting wise. I bought last July August07 (Expica fair was on)and they waived the 15% IVA taxes and they also were the recommended vendor for my complex which added another 10% off for a total of 35% off and almost $300 in savings.
don't be shy
You can kill two birds with one stone by going to the Mercado Oriental. Go in the *morning only*, leave your watch and jewelry at home, keep your cash in an intelligent location (ie one third in front left pocket, one half in front right pocket, one tenth in front shirt pocket, and the remainder with your companion, who will pay for the taxi), and don't go alone.

try the Comfesa store on the carretera Masaya
try the Comfesa store on the carretera Masaya. it's across the street from Metro Centro. We bought all of our ceiling fans and lighting there. I thought the service and pricing was affordable.
