My bride is building a house for her mother in Villa Libertad barrio and a pre-fab would presumably be much simpler to build.

This building style/material

This building style/material was called Tipo Sandino in the 80’s, the Sandinista government used this a lot when they were oppressing the population in giving them free housing. It has been around for a long time.

Hello What type of material are the prefabs made of and where do you get more information on these houses.

theses prefab pannels are made of concrete and so are the post. there are several differant floor plan designs or you can create your own floor plan.

the front of the building will be built with block to create a second floor for stuctural strength for a small deck

thanks for the pics ! My Nica brother in law just sent me an e-mail the other day on pre-fab houses. He quoted one company offering a 79m2 model for a material cost of $1979.00. If you don't mind me asking is this price in the ballpark of the model in your pic ? Also what do you estimate the total cost for move in ready ?

depends on the finishing

this floor plan came with 2 bathroom my client only wanted to install one . the contractor will install the plumbing and wireing on this home plus sinks, toliet, windows,

this home the client would like to do the finishing him self such as tile, stucco , interior cabinets and so on.

i know a good contractor in tola that supples interior and exterior material for the finishing. he suppled the materials for the igauna condos by rio colorado. marbles stone and many other type of finnishing products.

so i can not give you a finished cost on this project. sorry

the orignal cost of this home was 2500 dollars for the floorplan of 2 bedrooms 2 bath and live area and kitchen so the price changed when he wanted a second level deck. does not include the foundation. also you can have the home installed from the company you buy the materials from they do provide this service.

57sq mt or 600 sq feet. you can alter the size of the prefab rooms very easy. by adding more posts and pannels.
