A Tale of Two Nicaragua’s … A History Lesson

The author of the above posting who identifies himself as No Longer Registered, is in fact the individual who left this site to start The Real Nicaragua. He likes to refer to himself as "delusional loser". From memory, for those interested, he is an admitted self proclaimed, avowed capitalist, lives in Florida, Miami; if I'm not mistaken, and was two years ago building an aircraft in his garage. He has a sharp wit, and tongue too, and has a flair for writing compelling socio-political arguments proponing his capitalistic view of the world, a view, of course, where there are no holds barred, and everything goes, in addition to exploring creative prose, probably some interest he developed in taking Creative Writing 101 at a community college,as the above suggests. At the time when he was an active member on NL, he was under constant attack for what some would describe as his outrageous political viewpoints, arguements that many would consider socially dangerous if implemented because of the consequences on the econmically, racially, and socially disadvantaged. On at least two occasions our lately departed member Tony wrote me urging that I join him in posting incidientary contibutions to TRN, to stir up the hornets, so to speak. It stirs up a lot of buzz, and its good for mayhem, Tony said. John, AKA No Longer Registered, probably intercepted those emails from Tony. And so he is now dropping a bomb here, there. Disgruntling NL members by inciting them to think that if they can't say what they want to say, when they say it, how they say it, then someohow they are democratically denied their right to exercise their freedom of speech. Even if in the process their exercised freedoms is via ad hominem attacks, name calling, and other blatant methods to make their points of view known, no matter what. Of course, since there are really not many holds barred on TRN, that site seems like Valhalla, and our own slap on the fingers approach to NO NO's is considered unbridled, unfair, commie driven restrictions on free expression. Mr. No longer Registered self proclaimed 'delusional loser', is a multi faceted, and talented 'entrepreneur', rich or not, it's hard to say, because he does live in Florida, land of gold necklaces and diamonds, and he is still (assummably) building an aircraft, in his garage, (which would seem to me to have to be a humogous garage), and as of today, August 25, has posted 4900 entries on his web site - like that is a logt of posts!!!!!Where he gets the time to make himself a peanut butter sandwich is beyond me. But then maybe selling T Shirts, miscellaneous baubles, and collecting "donations" via Pay Pal is probably more lucrative a way to making a living than otherwise. There's a lot of panhandlers who do very, very well. Given his talents, he might want to really consider advertising as a career. Probably doesn't pay enough though, and certainly not as much fun as he's having now. Welcome aboard John.

Lately several posters wanted to know why their posts have not appeared or were deleted.

In my opinion most of these posters have made it their favorite pastime to sling personal insults at others on this board and repeat the same posts over and over in varying forums. The post were completely irrelevant to the forum subjects and produced only noise that drove others from this site.

I think it has become obvious that some of the posters have a distinct dislike of some on this board and wish to influence this site in a negative way.

Let's face it, the childish behavior of some of the posters made it necessary to reduce their posting privileges.

I read that some of the posters claim that their posts are not appearing. If anyone posts useful content that is not contrary to the guidelines of this site, I'm sure the posts will appear.

Posts being deleted: Posts that have been deleted were in all cases insulting and inappropriate. In most cases they are irrelevant to the subject of the particular thread.

Posts being edited: If a post is generally on subject but contains libelous statements or contains copyright infringement, the problem portions should be removed and a statement that the post was edited should be inserted.

I don't think this is anything new to anyone that has been using the internet for any length of time. These rules apply on pretty well any blog site.

If any of these simple guidelines are too strict for any posters maybe they are better off somewhere else. I hope that cooler heads will prevail and that the posters wishing to contribute useful content will continue to do so.

Life requires some guidelines and yes, even some rules in order to maintain some semblance, of order. If this is too much for some.... too bad!

Is that a Creep in a double wide took advantage after Allen passed to use all the postings we do to make money for himself. This 'savage capitialst' from Hicksville concocted a feud and stole a few good men and prolific posters and is using them to make money off the site. Site is nothing more than a social site as most of the posts have nothing to do with Nicaragua. The Creep who runs the site hasn't even been to Nicaragua in 2 yeers I'll bet. One or one sentence responses and hate filled speech against this site owners or Venezuela is all he offers. Just hate . Hypocrite has the webname -therealvenezuela.com also registered. Good luck with that one. John Edwards would be proud. Site owner here is misguided and dumb but Leftism can be cured and once he gets deep in the project he's building he will see the light. He lives in the country among Nicaraguans and practices what he preaches. The Creep on the other site is using good people for his delusional grandiose plan. The hate filled bs from this loser is picking up to even lower levels and I feel I should say my 2 beans.
