Forwarding MailSubmitted by ATZ on 31 July, 2008 - 05:52.
I just found a unique service to forward mail. They scan envelopes (or whatever) and you view online. Then with a click you can toss, have them send, or have them open, scan and email contents. Lets you sort as opposed to having someone else do it and saves getting a lot of junk. They will package and send in bulk if you wish. They list a good security system. I am signing up, but have not used. ( categories: )

I have recently done a comparison
of similar services, as I have been using Access USA which provides a US street address to receive pkgs, but they don't offer the scanning service (which is a nice feature to be sure). However, Access USA only charges $29 for a 1 lb pkg and use DHL to ship. These guys charge somewhere around 45 for the same pkg...Something to consider. I am trying to locate the comparison to post same.
Here is one comparison that does not include earthclass mail http://shipping-guru.tumblr.com/
I like the idea, but what
I like the idea, but what about privacy? I'd feel funny about someone else opening up my mail.
Your choice if they do or not
They do not open unless you tell them to. Otherwise they just scan the envelope and you see that online. Then if you want them to open and scan to send on line they do. Or you tell them to hold, send on to you or just trash.ZZT
