Shipping From Managua to US

Submitted by will305 on 26 July, 2008 - 15:47.

I was going through my paperwork and found the invoice from the company I used to ship a full pallet of household goods from Managua to the US (AZ). I was remembering how easy it was, they came to my home in Managua with 2 guys and a truck and picked up the stuff (Packed in boxes/suitcases) and transported it back to their warehouse. They gave me a quote via telephone beforehand and were willing to come to my house to help me pack it and give me a firm quote. I decided to pack myself and go with the quote given by telephone, as it was not going to differ much upon seeing the merchandise I was going to ship ( a pallet is a pallet is a pallet). In fact, they honored what they quoted on the phone.

I went to the warehouse to cancel the bill (CS10,580 - around $550) and ensure that my stuff was packed up right. I wanted to ensure it would be there when I arrived because my time in the US would be limited and would need to remove the stuff from customs while I was there.

Needless to say, everything worked perfectly, my stuff arrived as planned, unharmed and in good condition.

I would highly recommend them if anyone needs this type service. They go worldwide.

The company's name is TransCargo Ltd.

I dealt with Alberto Sevilla, Gerente de Operaciones and he was very helpful, accessible and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Took all my calls and answered my emails. Even gave me his cell #.
