Jobs in Nicaragua
Just to add to the cedula and residence requirements, usually it is easier to get a job if someone refers you to the job. As per the job at the FDC factory and other large employers, usually you are hired based on qualifications. That factory is a modern plant totally automated and they use a lot of IT, laborers, electricians, mechanics, etc there and in the sugar mill next to them. Working for any of the Pellas group companies are one of the most coveted jobs, because the good pay, benefits and prestige that the job carries. Maybe you will dissapointed with salary and working conditions in other places. Good luck and be patient,

It is probably a different game in Managua but at least here in Estelí, job ads seem to come in two flavors:
Your profile says you were born in the U.S. If you are not a Nicaraguan citizen, you are going to have a lot of hoop-jumping to do to get permission to work here. Also, most jobs require a "police clearance". If you don't have a cedula and/or driver's license, that will be a problem.
except
if you are born in the USA and your parents are Nicaraguans, then you are recognized dual citezenship by Nicaragua not the USA. even us,grown ups, we are allowed to use both passports,Nica and USA,the Nica to enter Nicaragua,The US passport to enter USA.
