May.11th,2008 Is there any other canadian living in retirement? I am planning on settling in Bluefields or Big Corn later this year. My question is: How to receive my pension there. I understand, one can not open a bank-account and I found it akward to get money out of the bank. Would like to know on how to proceed and not having to much trouble.

Really?
I have had a BAC account for 2 years now. Be aware that you actually need two, one in dollars, and one in cordobas. T You have to have your passport or cedula to draw money out. I also have my money in an account in the States and pull out cash with my debit card. I also use it to pay bills at restaurants and such as it is also a VISA.
