Beautiful
Thi is one of the many reasons why I love fishing Apanas(Asturias) we get that morning mist, called Brumas that's one of the purest air one can breathe.
Phils says it's too hot in La Dalia? I think NOT,maybe towards El Rama,La Dalia weather should be just a tad hotter that Apanas, which is very cool year round,I am right Doug?
FAP
The hottest..
I have seen was 32c, and it was about 40c in Managua that day. The Brumas (thanks for the word) hang around most mornings until 8-8:30 and by 1:30 it's about as hot as it gets, mostly mid 20c's . By 10pm I am looking for a sweater. La Dalia is about 1000 feet higher elevation than our place.

How far from
The Rio Tuma is your house?? We are planning a fishing trip to Rio Tuma, towards La Dalia, myself and our great friend from Asturias,Don Antonio. We are planning on taking my small Alunminum 14 foot boat with a 10HP,that I keep in Asturias. He's Fished Rio Tuma Before,I haven't,but have been there. He says El Rio Tuma, has some huge Robalo/Snooks. I would like to say hi if I am in the Are Doug.
FAP
we are on the Wasaka...
river about 5-8Km from where it meets the Tuma, we would love to have you come by, but we are in the US now, getting ready to drive from Seattle.
I sure the hell would rather be fishing ;)

No problem Doug
Our trip will not take place till early May,begining of the rainy season, that's when the fishing is at it's best. If you enjoy fishing,You are more than welcome to our humble little fishing hole in Asturias. Just let me know and I can met you there, right now I am spending 2 weeks a month in Esteli.

I always thought....
you had a great job, now I know it, dude you have it made,
running a business and mass fishing. I will gladly take you up on the offer,
I haven't had a chance to dip my line in Nicaragua yet ;)

I do love my Job
but traveling every 2 weeks is starting to get on my nerves, specially when my little fishing partner for life is just turning 2. Hopefully I will be permanently in Esteli in a few more months. I fish when I get a chance to unwind, specially if you add a little FDC to the fishing :-)
FAP
just say when
Doug. You will fall in love with Asturias and it's people. It's absolutely the most beautiful part of Apanas

That area
I really like what it looks like near La Dalia and also near El Rama. That is, green even in the dry season. What I don't like is the weather. It is just too hot for me over there.
