For Sale - 1951 Elgin 5hp outboard motor

1951, no, not a typo. Definitely a vintage outboard. Looks remarkably good for 55+ years, with very little paint loss at all on the above-water parts. Works perfect (had an overhaul in 2002). Located in the capital of Honduras. Can be seen/tested in a garage, where it is mounted to a converted oil drum, filled with water. Comes with a photocopy of the original owners booklet. Weighs about 35-45 lbs (est.). I can provide basic email images next week. Can be delivered to San Marcos de Colon or Danli, for a tiny fee - but not across the border. There is no title or paperwork associated with the motor as that is not required here in HN. Price is L3500 - but can be paid for in Dollars, Euros, or Lempiras.
