Yup
I am really pleased with the property we found. Much is pine forest. Other parts are oak. We are working on what you would call the Environmental Impact Statement right now. We have to remove some trees for construction. The preserve management plan specifies what trees are native to the area. Well, there are two different kinds of cedar that are native so we plan to add cedar to the pine/oak mix.
I have started work on the public web site for the project. Besides the specifics about the business I am going to have pages on the preserve itself. That will include photos and descriptions of flora and fauna. It is probably three or more months away on the schedule but it will actually be the fun part.
I know I was surprised when I first found pine forest in Central America. The Tisey preserve tends to be interesting as you can be in an area where there are cactus growning and 10 meters away there are pines. I actually have a photo on the property where we are standing in the pines but the photo is of bananas.
