Thinking about residency

I've reread all the info on the sight about residency and was looking for any fresh insights regarding the Bond Deposit. Have any Canadians here on the site recently completed their residency and how much did you have to drop on the Bond Deposit?

Can onyone give any insight on getting the residency. I am living in Montreal Canada and would love to move to Nicaragua in the next year.

Any Canadian experience on getting residency?
