La Garnacha produce for saleSubmitted by nuestragringa on 24 October, 2007 - 12:26.
This is the Friday green market at the park in Esteli, La Garnacha and ASOPASN sell under the blue canopy with the misspelled name. It says, " La Garache" or something to that effect. The canopy maker doesn't accept returns I guess. The 2 men are Augusto, who works at La Garnacha, and Antonio who lives there. The harvest was small that day in October, due to the incessant rains. Great place
I can vouch for the people, the place and the produce and cheese. A Friday morning walk to the outdoor market is fairly common for Ana, Carlos and I.
As much as I love cheese, my body doesn't like it. This is a typical problem with cow's milk. But, no problem with goat cheese. Note that if you can't make it to the Friday market, La Segovias supermarket usually has some of the La Garnacha cheese.
