Filling in a WellSubmitted by fyl on 26 August, 2007 - 15:20.
There is an old well in my yard. It is a about a one meter diameter brick-lined "hole". I quote hole because I didn't even know it existed when I bought the house. But, after a lot of rain, the dirt/rocks/whatever that filled it is settles. This is year three. My assumption was that just filling it with rocks and then dirt would fill it up and all would be ok. Well, it isn't and I now have about a two foot pit in the yard again. Is there a solution or should I dig it out and start my own water company? ( categories: )
