Though tomorrow will probably not be much of a day of rest, I always enjoy the feeling of calm that descends with Friday night, though I much prefer to spend it with a large dinner of family and friends. Instead Maya and I will probably have a nice walk down Calle Calzada and find a little place to break bread somewhere nearby.

Haim Maya and I were just in Nica for a week to explore. Me to reacquaint with old friends, and him investigating business opportunities. I was shocked by the price increases...over 100% in four years for much of the foods I remember. The "other" Nicaragua...the one where food prices don't matter so much, seems to be having a blast in all of the new restaurants and malls of Managua.
