Maybe Nicaragua should treat the US Ambassador the same way?

0

27 de junio de 2010, 12:23UN, Jun 27 (Prensa Latina) Nicaragua today described as unacceptable and deplorable the treatment given by U.S. authorities to its Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador María Rubiales.

A note of the Nicaraguan mission to the U.S. describes the treatment to the diplomat at Miami International Airport as, "offensive and violator of international norms".

El Titulo Supletorio or Supplementary Title explained. (Well sort of….)

Every so often I have clients that found the ‘Perfect Property’ but that property does not have a registered title or a has a Supplementary Title. These clients are generally the bargain hunters or the ‘Do it yourself’ type of clients. Now there is nothing wrong with belonging to either of these two categories as long as you know what you are getting into.

While there is no guarantee any of the suggestions will be implemented, your ideas will provide some information on what you feel is lacking.

As you know, fyl is the man to make the changes. Until he gets back from his vacation, all we can do is collect ideas and then make him a 'present' of them.

At times some of the complaints voiced can be resolved by changing the browser settings. For example:

We had complaints that the posts in a thread get to narrow and too difficult to read. This can be changed by selecting Flat list - expanded under Comment viewing options.

Another success story for Casa Lupita in Granada

Casa Lupita seems to be like the little engine that could. Consistently moving ahead. In spite of obstacles presented by each individual case that walks or is carried in their door, the keep on keeping on.

Anyone involved in rescuing animals will tell you, the toughest cases are often the most rewarding. We are lucky to have places such as Casa Lupita and the Stones and Waves clinic in Nicaragua.

Good for them!. http://www.laprensa.com.ni/2010/06/20/departamentos/28455

Several weapons, from AK 47's, to pistols, to rifles are off the street in one case.

Cattle rustlers and horse thief's are under arrest is another case.

A gang stealing telephone wire and selling it for scrap is behind bars in the third arrest.

Next time they pull you over for a routine check, let them know you appreciate their work.

Every once a while, I take a look around just to see what's happening in 'the hood'.

My first stop was "The Real Nicaragua" or TRN as it is lovingly called by its members.

I actually have an account there but I post very little on that site. Not because I don't like the folks and I don't feel guilty when I do. The reason I don't post there regularly is simply because I don't like the 'feel' of the software and the incessant chit chat. I suppose blog sites are like neighborhood bars. Everyone has their favorite where they are comfortable and feel they can relax.

Dr Laura Schlesinger....
In her radio show, Dr Laura Schlesinger said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned under any circumstance.

The following response is an open letter to Dr. Laura, written by a US resident, and posted on the Internet.

It's funny, as well as informative:

Dear Dr. Laura:
